Afterhours 2010: Night and Day

Another Cornerstone Music Festival has come and gone. Once again, we came, we saw, we conquered. We ran the stage with yet another small budget cut, moved to a new location within the festival and had a new stage partner, Raging Storm Records. In the end, this may have been the most significant year we have had running the EDM stage at Cornerstone. The very first night out, we had over 1500 pass through the stage and for well over half of them, this was their first Afterhours.

Afterhours Vol 3: Track Listing Announcement

Well, we’re now just about a month away from the Cornerstone Music Festival and it’s time once again to announce the track listing for the latest Afterhours CD. Volume 3 is brought to you by your fellow Tastyfreshers, a host of producers and Deeplife Records owner, Science Drop. The mix has been completed and shipped to the manufacturer. I will be finalizing the artwork this weekend. And Kevin will be picking up 1000 copies before he heads to Amtrak to pick me up in late June.  So without further fanfare, here is the Afterhours Volume 3 track listing.

Mission Accomplished

We did it. Once again, this community reached into their pockets and gave so that others might have something to take home and remember Afterhours, Cornerstone and hopefully Tastyfresh.com.

Afterhours 20TEN Line Up

Afterhours Linup Announcement

After much debate and speculation, I am proud to announce the 20TEN Afterhours stage lineup for Cornestone. We’ve got some regular Djs, some DJs who are new to the festival and a few returning ones as well. So, here’s the lineup, night by night.

Afterhours Volume 3: Fundraising and Track Submission

It all started two years ago. Kevin, Doug and I were talking about what we were going to do about running a generator stage during the day at Cornerstone. We wanted to do that again, but we all knew one thing, we had to give something back to the Cornerstone Festival community, a generator stage just wouldn’t cut it. We joked about doing a compilation CD to hand out and then we let the idea drop for a few weeks. Doug’s temporary departure from our community a few weeks later though brought the CD back to the forefront of our discussion and a few weeks later, we had the first edition of the Afterhours compilation in our hands. After the festival, we were able to find maybe 16 out of a 1000 CDs that had been left behind by Festival goers. There was no question that the following year would bring Volume 2.
