Getting your work for sale online.

BeatPort is very picky this way, though they do allow their buddies to jump on with only a few cuts on their label. & their cut % is higher than average IIRC.
Juno is very accepting to smaller labels. You do have to prove your worth though.
Ive made a conscious decision to ignore beatport for the time being. Ive got contacts to get Llama Farm back on there, but the level of sales i would get is not the same as the other outlets. To operate direct, you are looking at selling $1000 a quarter. Miss that and its bye bye.
The other stores are not bothered so much.

OUT NOW:
LLAMA013 Various Artists -Shake What the Llama Gave Ya! Sampler
Coming soon: Eps feat Lucas Keizer, Sounddiggers, Corduroy Mavericks and more.http://llamafarm.wikispaces.com

I'm not a huge fan of Beatport either. They used to be Rave promoters who had a bad mafia-type rep.petelefreq wrote:Ive made a conscious decision to ignore beatport for the time being.
