HG Episode 10: J Puddy

Waaaahhhhh.... it's 2010! Homegrown is back and better than ever, after a somewhat relaxing Christmas and New Year's season. This month I'm bringing you my favourite tracks of 2009, mixed by yours truly... because after all, I too am an undiscovered DJ who believes in Jesus. Download now.

Also in the Homegrown podcast this month is the winner of our poll: who was your favourite Homegrown DJ of 2009? DJ Dunamis took the title, who provided our first Homegrown mix with some sweet drum n bass. In a tie for second place was Christopher Carl (our dearly department brother) and Ed "The Watchman" King. I'll have to get in touch with Monsieur Dunamis and get another mix from him.

If you'd like the tracklist of this mix, you can find it at jpuddy.net

Enjoy!

  1. I really enjoy your podcasts that are posted on tastyfresh. My favorite so far is the one was the double feature w/ Dj ecliptic, but specifically your mixes. Keep it up and keep the focus on Jesus and all will fall into place :) Be Blessed.

Undiscovered? Certainly. Untapped? Definitely. Raw talent? Possibly. J Puddy has been spinning a blend of trance and progressive music since 2004. Living in Toronto he was a member of the Toronto Groove Collective, playing many gigs around the city and opening a concert for Delirious in 2006. Since moving to Europe he's played at Dynamite Music festival in Helsinki, and Sencity 2009, among other gigs. People frequently describe his DJ sets as "Pretty good","Not quite what we were expecting", and "That music you were playing, that's called techno, right?"
